The third graders are now writing sentences using the new verbs they've learned and the following words that describe the rooms of the house. If you'd like to play a game of concentration, charades or make flash cards of the words with your child, that would be a great way to reinforce what she or he is learning in my class!

el cuarto/the room
el dormitorio/the bedroom
la sala/the living room
el comedor/the dining room
el ático/the attic
el sótano/the basement
la cocina/the kitchen
